During his teenage years, he helped cover some of his family’s personal loans by working as a janitor and security guard. Since then, Carrey has become one of Hollywood’s most regarded actors/comedians. Having received his first rise to fame around the 1990s thanks to his stint in the series In Living Color, the actor then rose to even higher levels of popularity when he starred in movies such as Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura, and The Mask. Other films he has worked on since then include The Truman Show, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and, most recently, Sonic the Hedgehog. Because of these, he now has a net worth of $180 million.
