KRISTY MCNICHOL | $4 MILLION

Kristy McNichol made her television acting debut in an episode of Love, American Style in the early ’70s. Before appearing in television shows, she worked in various commercials with her brother. McNichol landed her first regular role on 1974’s Apple’s Way. Two years later, she scored another part for which she is widely known today- portraying Letitia “Buddy” Lawrence on Family. For the role, the actress bagged two Emmy Awards.

McNichol also ventured into the music industry, with credits in the album Kristy & Jimmy McNichol, working alongside her brother. She made her last screen appearance in Empty Nest in 1995 and later voiced characters in animation shows in the late ’90s. She decided to retire from acting in 2001 and has since taught acting at a private school. In recent years, McNichol devoted much of her time and effort to charity work.
