Cher | 1965 Ford Mustang
Often considered the “Goddess of Pop,” cher developed her musical talents at a young age. Born Cherilyn Sarkisian, the singer has since released numerous hit records throughout her six-decade-long career. Along the way, besides gracing the airwaves, she also dabbled in the acting business, landing roles in titles such as Silkwood, If These Walls Could Talk, and Moonstruck, the latter earning her an Oscar for Best Actress.
In 1965, when her fame was reaching its peak, Cher and her at-the-time husband Sonny Bono both received a gift from Ford. The singing duo got their own matching Mustangs, each of which was customized to reflect their respective personas – Cher’s was pink while Sonny’s had a gold paint job. After some time, though, the two parted ways with their Mustangs. Even so, these celebrity vehicles remain in good condition, and fans can spend some credit card points to see them on display at the Midwest Dream Car Collection in Kansas.
