Being one of the more influential celebrities in Hollywood, Brad Pitt had been using that power to make the world a better place. Along with former wife Angelina Jolie, he had adopted three children internationally to show support for various causes. His life has been the subject of much publicity, and he used the media mileage to discuss things like global health issues and the protection of the environment.
As an environmentalist, Pitt has also bought a Tesla Model S to show that electric vehicles are the way of the future and a more sustainable economy. It would not consume gas and hence not add to the worsening greenhouse effect. The actor, however, has to be very careful when using the autopilot on the Tesla as he was involved in an accident some time ago, with suspicion on the autopilot.
