Katy Perry

Born as Katherine Elizabeth Hudson, Katy Perry is a worldwide hit-maker and songwriter. She first rose to prominence in 2008 when she released her track I Kissed a Girl from her second album, One of the Boys. Perry gained her status as a siren for her alluring beauty and physique with a quirky personality. Growing up, the pop star sang gospel music at church and was initially launched as a gospel singer, but the poor performance of her album made her take a detour. As she gained worldwide recognition, her personal life also took the spotlight due to her involvement in many controversies.

In 2010, Perry married the actor Russel Brand. The two met in 2009 and got engaged just after a few months. Subsequently, she and Brand separated in 2011 after 14 months of marriage. The actor was the one to hire a lawyer first, as he insisted on the separation.  In 2012, Perry started a relationship with John Mayer by August of the same year. The former couple had a tumultuous relationship and began dating on and off until they finally parted ways in 2014. Perry had several flings before she finally met Orlando Bloom in 2016. They initially halted their relationship by March of 2017 but eventually resumed their close relationship by June of the same year. The couple got engaged in February 2019 and announced their pregnancy in March 2020. Perry and Bloom welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, in October 2020, while their wedding got postponed due to the global health crisis.
