Katherine Heigl

Katherin Heigl first started off as a child model. She eventually made her debut as a film actress at the age of 14 for a minor role in the 1992 film That Night. Heigl continued to pursue her career in acting while appearing in ads and magazines. Her big break came when she got cast in the TV series Roswell, followed by her Izzie Stevens character in Grey’s Anatomy. After leaving the TV series, the 42-year-old actress focused more on being a film actress and received several praises for her romantic-comedy films such as  27 Dresses, The Ugly Truth, and Life As We Know It. Despite her success in the box office, she received criticism against her professionalism and out-spoken personality. Despite the challenges, Heigl remained a relevant actress today.

As the blonde beauty has never had it easy, she admitted that her mental health suffered at one point in her career. This led her to seek professional help and sought refuge away from the grueling life of Hollywood. Heigl, who is married to the singer, Josh Kelly, opted to live in their Utah ranch house, which was their family’s haven as it has a good home security system. Likewise, she is a very loving and affectionate person as she chose to adopt two kids before having their son. Heigl is also passionate about animal welfare and even dedicated a part of the foundation she built for animal rehabilitation. Additionally, Heigl is a proponent of organ donation and campaigns for cancer awareness.
