Emmy Rossum

Emmanuelle Grey Rossum is an actress and singer best known for her role as Fiona Gallagher in the TV show Shameless. From a young age, she showed a fierce determination to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. In fact, she dropped out of high school to chase such opportunities, earning her diploma via online courses at the age of 15. She later got her degree at Columbia University.

Rossum’s breakthrough role in the 2003 film Mystic River earned her critical acclaim. She further impressed audiences with her performance as Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera. She also showcased her singing abilities in the film. Rossum has since released two studio albums, Inside Out and Sentimental Journey, as well as a Christmas-themed EP. She is also passionate about various causes, being an environmentalist and an animal rights advocate.
