Emilia Clarke

Emilia Isobel Euphemia Rose Clarke is a British actress who has been named one of the most influential people in the world by Time magazine She was born and raised in the county of Oxford. Her father was a theatre sound engineer while her mother was a businesswoman who, as of 2020, is the vice-president for marketing at a global management consulting company.

Clarke rose to fame for her acting credit as Daenerys Targaryen on the HBO show Game of Thrones. Her performance garnered four Emmy Award nominations. She subsequently appeared in films such as Terminator Genisys, Solo:  A Star Wars Story, and Me Before You. Aside from films, Clarke has also appeared on the stage, landing roles in productions of Breakfast at Tiffany’s and The Seagull. She is involved in various charities and has served as an ambassador for the Royal College of Nursing and the SMA UK Trust Team.
